I kept forgetting to post Flux Pavillions latest EP, which Doctor P rinsed up nicely during his Adelaide Set...( The EP was out a week or two before that) so if you haven't already got your ears onto it...check it now! The EP takes a cut back approach from the usual, with more focus on melodic synth sounds..with the exception of the title track featuring Foreign Beggars.
When the sound and wholesome nature of man acts as an entirety, when he feels himself in the world as in a grand, beautiful, worthy and worthwhile whole, when this harmonious comfort affords him a pure, untrammeled delight: then the universe, if it could be sensible of itself, would shout for joy at having attained its goal and wonder at the pinnacle of its own essence and evolution. For what end is served by all the expenditure of suns and planets and moons, of stars and Milky Ways, of comets and nebula, of worlds evolving and passing away, if at last a happy man does not involuntarily rejoice in his existence? - Goethe (1805)
Ah Downlink... you never change your sounds, but they are so pleasantly disgraceful that I just have to post this.
Dubstep is such a versatile genre, being defined by tempo and snare placement means that Dubstep can stretch through many sub-genres, yet to be named. The next two tracks show you the different moods this one genre can place you in. Mellow Dubstep.
