So Mr Joel Zimmerman aka Dead-Mow-5 or Deadmau5 if you prefer has been going on a bit about making some dubstep, and a completed track has finally landed.

At just under 10 minutes long, the track is built up beautifully with strong progressive house chords we've come to expect from Mr Mau5. Whilst the dub drop at the 5 minute mark isn't the most mind shattering, the vocals coupled with progressive sounds give a good indication of the variety we can expect from Deadmau5 in the future, and re-iterates his position at the forefront of electronic music.

SKRILLEX EP

I was a bit sceptical about downloading this EP after seeing a post about it on Deadmau5's

facebook page, but I can safely say this is something any electro, nu disco, dubstep, wobble fan should download. I can't even completely classify this EP into any particular subgenre as he blends the best elements into a melting pot of glorious, heavy, glitchy, breakbeat noise, which proves that there is still hope left for producers to redefine the typical approach to electronic music. The best part of this? The whole EP is 100% free!!

Mixing It Up

Instead of posting a few new tracks...today i'll be leaving you with some great new mixes filled with many new/awesome and even unreleased tracks to keep you busy.

First up is a mix from electro and dubstep producer Udachi, let me warn you now, this mix has some absolutely filthy tunes in it, and I highly recommend this to anyone who loves Wobbly Bass, electro and Dubstep.

Next up is a slower/softer mix from Cassian, the newcomer to the scene who is causing a storm with his extremely popular party making tunes. If you haven't already heard his Beatport number 1, 'Friday Night', get onto it soon. This is a great mix to chill to but it also doubles as a very dance-able blend of disco/funk and indie electro.

Punk Rolla, is the new alias of one of the DJ's/producers previously known as Bass Weazal, the new sound combines those familiar heavy basslines with some dutch sounds, creating absolute monster tracks and bootlegs. This mixtape is full of his own tracks as well as new/unreleased bangers from the likes of Calvertron, The Mightyfools, Mustard Pimp and even Deadmau5.

If you haven't heard a live Afrojack Set, grab this one immediately. We had the privilege of seeing him at HQ a while back, and his set was by far the best of the night!
